Int’l Oil Show indicates Iran’s technological development

A parliamentarian said on Wednesday that Iran’s International Oil Show, to start Thursday April 22, will be the best manifestation of progress in the country’s scientific and technological fields.
Emad Hosseini, who is a member of Majlis Energy Commission told that the event will provide a good opportunity to introduce the Islamic Republic’s achievements in those areas.
The 15th International Oil Show is to start work at Tehran’s Permanent International Fairground, northern Tehran, on Thursday and will conclude on April 26.
The International Oil Show is Iran’s most successful exhibition in engineering and technical fields, the MP said, adding that the event has always been warmly welcomed by Majlis representatives, particularly members of the Energy Commission.
He added that the event can put on display the country’s existing potentials in the fields of oil, gas, refining and petrochemicals.
Some 929 domestic and 401 foreign companies are to attend the exhibition including companies from Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Russia, Sweden, France, India, mexico, Brazil and the Saudi Arabia.
