Managing Director of the national Iranian Offshore Oil Company (NIOOC) Mahmoud Zirakchianzade made the remarks talking to reporters on the sidelines of the 15th International Oil Show in Tehran.
Hengam oil field was jointly discovered with Oman in 1979, said the official.
