Business opportunities with Iran confab held in Florence, Italy
Italian Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, May 20, sponsored a conference titled Business Opportunities with Iran.

At the day long gathering attended by the members of the chambers of commerce of the two countries the other officials included head of Florence Chamber of Commerce, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Italy, and a number of the two countries’ merchants and business people.

The lecturers at the conference emphasized on need for the expansion of bilateral economic relations, particularly between the two countries’ private sectors.

Iran’s Ambassador to Rome Seyyed Mohammad-Ali Hosseini expressing satisfaction over the holding of the gathering briefed the audience about the two countries relations.

He said that the gathering of the two countries’ merchants and business people was a good opportunity for exchange of ideas aimed at boosting cooperation and holding closer dialogues over the two countries’ economic opportunities.

The other lecturers at the day long conference included the heads of the two countries’ chambers of commerce, the head of Toscana Province Rural Development Plans Company, and the head of Florence Chamber of Commerce.

The head of Iran Chamber of Commerce arrived in Italy atop a 22 member commercial delegation on Tuesday morning.
