Iranian media delegation visits RAK FTZA

A delegation of high profile Iranian media was received by Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority (RAK FTZA) as part of Ras Al Khaimah government's efforts to highlight its state-of-the-art facilities offered to its clients and to promote RAK FTZA.
During their stay in the emirate, the members of the delegation got an up close look at the various elements of Ras Al Khaimah's socio-economic development and explored its many attractions and places of interests that draw visitors for business and leisure from all over the world.
The aim of the visit was to highlight the business climate and opportunities that exist in the emirate in order to further economic exchange and cooperation between Iran and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Oussama El Omari, CEO of RAK FTZA said: 'We are keen to enhance our ties with the international media which we know can play a decisive role in promoting business between regions and organizations. The media is a very important source of information, education, and entertainment which brings all regions of the world closer together. By promoting RAK FTZ and highlighting Ras Al Khaimah's pro-investment plans and strategies, the various media delegations that have visited RAK FTZ have played a fundamental role in our meeting the goals we set to penetrate and expand into the Asian, European and other international markets,' he said and announced that several other media delegations, including leading journalists from Germany and India will be visiting RAK FTZ shortly to strengthen bilateral ties and relationships with those nations.
El Omari also hailed the Iranian capital investments in Ras Al Khaimah, pointing out that the number of Iranian companies registered with RAK FTZ had reached 648. 'This is a clear indication of the trust that the Iranian investors show in the zone's services and facilities,' he said.
