'Shopping Fair' opens today
Be among the first to check out the latest fashion trends and exotic products and items at the Shopping Fair, which formally opens today, and will run up to 31st August 2008.
Organised at the Municipality Fair Ground in Salalah, the fair will open at 5 pm and close at 12 midnight allowing visitors to shop at their heart's content.
Organized by Oman International Trade & Exhibitions (OITE), the country's leading events organizer, the Shopping Fair will run parallel to the Salalah Tourism Festival and will host 460 small and medium enterprises (SME's) from across the country, the neighboring GCC region and Asia, showcasing a wide spectrum of fashion items such as bags, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, perfumes, furniture, household wares, ready made garments, textiles, wedding dresses, herbal products, carpets, gift items, food, and many more.
'Shopping enthusiasts in Salalah and the neighboring regions should take advantage of this rare opportunity to shop items and haggle prices at affordable rates', said Mr. Hassan Mohammed, OITE's Exhibition Manager.
